Cried a little on the way there and then again at the start. Anytime a mass of people get together to do anything for the good, especially when they work so hard to do it, I get all choked up. Graduations, sporting events, Church stuff. I cry.
The shuffle Gods that are in charge of my iPod were completey on my side. I couldn't have created a better mix.
I havent looked up my official time, but at least according to my iPhone app, I ran an average of 10:43 minute miles. Very happy about that, since during my practice runs I was running at a 11:30 pace.
I had to go pee the entire race. But I didn't stop. The lines to the porta potties were too long.
Once again, Orb was amazing. He took the boys to grandma's and then drove to the race with Dot to cheer me on. And brought me white tulips. My current favorite.
Favorite part of the race: When I saw Dot waving the tulips in the air and shouting, "go mommy go." and then at the end she asked me if I was the winner. Of course I was
Pictures after the race. I'm exhausted. Look at my eyes. So tired!

my biggest fan.

Also my biggest fan

The weather was perfect. Blue skys, slightly chilly, a little windy, a lot of sun. This is my "and all I got was a tshirt" pose (above)

Oh yeah I had to go pee.
