A few things

Here's a quote from My So Called Life that Ive always loved. Replace the word yearbook with blog and it's my thoughts exactly.
"I mean, this whole thing with yearbook -- it's like, everybody's in this big hurry to make this book, to supposedly remember what happened. Because if you made a book of what really happened, it'd be a really upsetting book."

And with that message, I'll keep up my dilusional blog. With all of it's spelling errors. Earlier this week I even fooled Orb into thinking I was living a fun whimsical life with the kids. Ha! I keep out all the realities of raising twin boys and an emotional girl just to keep myself from crumbling or worse melting away.

Like the realitiy of this afternoon, when after spending 20 minutes getting the kids bundled and dressed for a walk to the park, Bee throws up everywhere in his stroller, then Alf takes one look at him and pukes even worse. All the while Dot is completely tangled up in her kite. We hadnt even left the driveway. She gave the boys a bath while I searched the house for 4 damn quarters to wash all the clothes out. See, upsetting, right? You don't want to know about that. You want more pictures of arctic poppies! Thanks anonymous for figuring that mystery out. I can't wait to tell Dot.

  1. Blah! I'm so sorry! Stomach bugs are the worst for Moms. Yuck! I hope the boys feel better soon and the rest of you don't get sick.

  2. Totally change your blog:

Sunshine and Clouds and Everything Proud

and under that instead of what u have now, put
    "keepin it real"

And make your blog about what's reallly going down. Throw some burnt dinners up there, maybe a few tantrums, some ugly clothes you might have, unflattering pics, recipes gone wrong, stuff that's non organic. LOL
