Day one (written yesterday)

Today was the first day that I felt normal. Dropped Dot off at school. I'm still overjoyed with the school. I met five parents at the playground after school. Loved them and their kids. The classroom looks normal--has number rugs, a kitchen set, the tables and chairs arent a million years old. I think if Dot stays with this program (they stay with the same class every year in elementary school), she will make some friends for life. Now all I have to do is convince rob to never get bored of NYC. I love it here. I need a few girlfriends though. Perhaps church will solve that. Tomorrow will be her first day when the entire class is taught in spanish. M/W is English and T/Th is Spanish and Friday is half and half.
I digress--later that day we went to 2 playgrounds and explored a little of central park.
