I'm excited that they are half way done. And I stopped giving candy as rewards after I did some research. Whoops. Didn't know that was out of fashion. So I give stickers again and they seem excited about it.
They are watching TV in this picture. Probably just as bad for them as candy rewards. Enter mom guilt.

Candy is bad because it teaches them at a young age to use junk food as a reward, aka "comfort food." You do a lot of fun things with them and you are a stay at home mom so you guys spend a lot of time together- don't feel bad for letting them watch some tv. :)
ReplyDeleteI had the opposite problem. Mine did poop great, and pee was harder. Of course the reward for poop was CANDY (stickers for pee)!
ReplyDeletehahaha so much stinkin' pressure on moms. why? why? why? I say do what works.
ReplyDeleteyou should reward yourself when they go to the bathroom the right way:
ReplyDeletepoop=cannoli
pee=cannoli
you're doing most of the work anyway (training them) -MY
haahaa i like that, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Lindsay:) Too much pressure...do what works best for you and your kiddos:)
