Merced with OAJ

So what if we were in the car for 6 hours today? WE GOT TO SEE MY SISTER OAJ! Totally worth it if you ask me. We found the city of Merced to have everything we needed. A zoo with happy animals (ever notice how the SF zoo has depressed animals?) Clean parks. Bright sunshine. Sonic. And a lake. Love you OAJ!

    I had so much fun too!! You forgot to add the mermaid and soggy diapers to the list of what made this day perfect. hahaaa I love you and your kids so much!

    I dont' want to go too Peta here, but I think it fits here.

    The animals at almost all zoos are usually depressed-(I'm not refering to sanctuaries). They suffer because they are being held captive in artifical settings where they are gawked at by visitors. Usually thousands of miles away from what is natural to them...(hunting, mating, living their natural lives).
