first off, thanks for all cheeers for the race. i especially liked the comments including the words "skinny" and "fit".
since running the race and being around such fit people, i came home with a new resolution to eat healthier. but then i went to Grandma's house and had a million warm chocolate chip cookies. then i watched the Superbowl and there was a million Doritos commercials. So I made Orb go out and buy me a bag. And then today I found this recipe for brownies and i had all the ingredients. so i had to try them. and then some. so goood. my stomach hurts. I'm running so much I have the appetite of a pregnant lady. Speaking of pregnant, Dot keeps making me feel bad for not giving her a sister. Sorry sweetheart. No sister for you! I am no longer a baby making machine. In other news, I've decided to start potty training the boys cold turkey (i.e., no more diapers during the day). Today was the first day. A lot of messes and I'm grateful for a washing machine. A few successes: Alf didn't wet the bed at naptime and went to the potty after he woke up. Both of the boys didn't have any accidents in the car or at the park. Also, they both went pee at the park's bathroom. Other than that, they pooped and peed in everything they wore today. tomorrow I'm hoping for more successes. And I will eat healthier and not touch the brownies. I've had enough junk food for the rest of the week.
ps recipe from smitten kitchen . after two years of my friends gushing over this blog, i finally checked it out. it is awesome.
mmmm I take all of my baked goods out of the oven while they are still a little undercooked.
ReplyDeletei love extra chewy cookies and brownies. it will probably kill me someday/poisoning.
oh, and by "baked goods" i mean cookie dough from the store and brownies from a box.

Ooooo. Those brownies are totally on my "to make" list. I LOVE that blog. We started potty training today too. Cold turkey as well. You are seriously daring to go cold turkey and leave the house. We aren't leaving until I'm 99% sure there won't be an accident.
